The Fisheries Resource Conservation Council (FRCC) will hold a press conference to release its report "2001 Conservation Requirements for Groundfish Stocks in Sub-Areas 0, 2+3" at 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 6, 2001, in the Avalon Room of the Fairmont Hotel Newfoundland, St. John’s, Newfoundland.
This report will contain FRCC advice to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans regarding the 2001/2002 fishing season for groundfish stocks off the southern and northeastern coasts of Newfoundland, including 3Ps cod.
The Chairman of the FRCC, Mr. Fred Woodman will preside, with other members of the Council in attendance.
